(3:10 PM) TATbird: mom came through the surgery well...it was 2 1/2 hours and now she'll be in recovery at least 2 hours... no problems so far thank goodness... the nerve root was very badly compressed at the L2...was more extensive work than he thought as it was worse than he anticipated... it's as close to a fusion without actually fusing...but she should now have a normal quality of life without pain... he agrees with her other doctors that her other issues should resolve as probably brought on due to the extreme pain she's been in. She will be in a back brace for at least 6-8 weeks
(8:21 AM) Wingsbeneathme: I talked to molliesdad Monday evening. Napleslynn may have had a heart attack, they are doing tests. Bob said that Lynn was in bad shape when he took her to the hospital in the morning but was a bit better later in the day. Lynn has been losing weight this past month, her neck problems acting up and then we know about her bad cold or? also. Please keep her in your prayers. I will call again tonight and talk to Bob and let our CMKX family know. Bob appreciates all of his CMKX family and is thankful for our prayers.
(8:16 AM) musicman777: Please pray for my niece.....she lost her baby last night the week before she was to deliver...they are now waiting for it to be born naturally, and be a stillborn...first child, grandchild and my parents first greatgrandchild.
(8:28 PM) napleslynn: Hi Gang. Just stopping to say hi and thanks for the prayers. Sounds as if it is going to be a long haul.
(8:31 PM) napleslynn: In hospital-doing test right now-BBIAB
(8:38 PM) napleslynn: I'm finally going to get a shower a dnwash my hair before the big tests tomorrow and possible pacemaker. Sean is coming down tomorrow, too. Thanks for the prayers and we'll keep you posted-hopefully, tomorrow.
It’s been a long and eventful day but I wanted to report in personally. I’m trying to let everyone know how things are going without over-exerting myself too much. I love getting your emails which have make me laugh and cry but am trying to limit my phone calls because I talk too much! LOL
I had my heart catheritization today (earlier than I had anticipated, which was great) and was able to watch entire procedure. Bottom line-all of my arteries are open and clean!!!!! That mean a huge hurdle has been covered. I shouldn’t need further surgery-no angioplasty or pacemaker. However, except for the few of you I have spoken with today, I’ve pretty much been out of touch because I had to lay flat on my back for four hours and was resting in anticipation of tonight s game. As some of you know I have long been awaiting this night.
I am writing this during commercials of the GATORS’ bid for national championship. I am trying not to get too worked up but so far it has been a very exciting game. I hope by the time you read this, we are the Champs!!!! It’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead but I’m going home tomorrow with all kinds of treatments to do, medications to take and home health services coming in at first. I think I will be out of work for at least a month to take care of myself and get better and to work on other medical issues- mainly pain management for my neck and migraines which have been so debilitating for so long. Hopefully most of my dental work can be accomplished during this time as well.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you for all of the good wishes, prayers and concern. You are each and every one of you very special in my life-some for a lifetime, some for a very, very long time and others more recent but each of you brings a wonderful piece of sunshine to my life and for that I am most thankful for you! I love you for being you and being there for me.
Love, hugs and kisses, Lynn
P.S. As I said earlier this is fairly generic to reach as many of you as possible at once, so if it is too mushy please take it in the spirit in which it was sent and know you are still very, very special.
(I miss my emoticons which are not in this program)
Can't wait until you rejoin us lynn in PalTalk... We miss you !!!
(12:12 AM) gigi_10: Sandi, I would like to extend to Napleslynn that I was relieved and happy to hear her news....I don't want to send a pm and overburden her, so please pass on my warm wishes to her if you can. TYIA Go LYNN!!!
To report: She had a very bad case of Bronchitis that needed to be treated with Antibiotics, Steroids, Inhaler's.....The Heart was monitored & found to "skip" every other beat. A Nitro patch was put on her chest along with the IV drip. Many tests have been done on the heart with NO definite diagnosis.
She was released from the Hospital last evening, but; DR has her home to recuperate completely from the Bronchitis and then in Three Weeks, she will have a Nuclear Stress Test....and, they'll go from there with what has to be done. Keep the prayers going for her, please.......she's a great gal & a loyal cmkx'er. We love her as a daughter.
Posted by zanmia on Yesterday at 10:51am I haven't been around the boards as much as I would have liked to be for the last month or so. The reason is my father has been very sick. I have been spending a lot of time at the hospital with him.
Last night I went to see him and met my mother and brother there. We talked to the doctor and were told that they couldn't do anything more for him. He wasn't responding to medications or treaments. They told us the best they could do was make him comfortable for the remainder of his time here. He is going to hospice next. They told us that he could pass away at anytime, but figured most likely in the next 3 to 10 days.
(7:41 PM) dck004: posted by zanmia on millionaires board:I just got back from the Hospice Center. My father passed away at approx. 6:30 pm. Thankfully he went very peacefully. He is with my brother Anthony and the rest of our family now.
(7:41 PM) dck004: Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They (and you) are appreciated more than you'll ever know.
May he rest in peace Mike... Condolences to you and your family.

I reported earlier on drillbit, having some major problems, not having health insurance, and taking forever to find an Urologist to see him. Confirmed cancer, and the stage of it in dangerous level.
I received many IM's for drillbit's address where some could make contribution to... as many don't like Pay Pal. Andrew McConnell, 5863 Scioto Darby Rd, Room 203, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
Andrew knows many are in similar hardship and have health issues too... so he's not asking those to help, but many members have asked where they could make some contribution toward his medical bills, and I've provided that above.

Thank you. I was so moved by the love shown...............am not a guy that is used to same. It just shows that in a tough environment, there are good people everywhere and for that I am d**n grateful.
I have been DDing prostate cancer since the day I was diagnosed, Dec 12, 08...about 8 hours a day. My PSA numbers are off the chart, 100x normal, but I still will have more testing in order to establish a game plan and then I'm going on the offensive with both feet and a head of steam. Ohio State didn't do enough biopsies because I have no assets/insurance but the few they did had cancer.
The donations WILL be used for that fight.I NEVER EXPECTED THAT but PLEASE thank all for me in PT rooms. I'll pay all back with interest. .
(12:36 AM) ColorfulCO: any prayers out there, please pray for my brother, found unconscience today at home and on life support right now, not expected to live much longer. Thank you very much! He's only 53 years old. and he's a CMKX shareholder! His name is Marty. He's an awesome brother.
Colorful, may God be with you all, and help you through all of this.
(12:19 PM) ColorfulCO: Thank you Grape Vine for the prayers!!! So very much appreciated! Nothing has changed, they don't know what happened, no heart attack, no signs of what caused his heart to stop. Somethings gotta change though either way. Thanks a bunch!
