Spoke with Dennis Smith (Particleswaves)

I called Dennis around lunch time... and he was kind enough to give me about 15 to 20 minutes of his time.
I started the conversation with a comment, based on recent rumors, that many of us truly felt that yesterday was finally going to be the day when we would hear officially that the Trust Funds had been released to the Trustee for distribution to CMKX Shareholders. That didn’t happen… so, I asked Dennis if there was anything he could tell us about where things stand. He laughed at that and said: "Yes, but it would pretty much be the same stuff he has told me and so many others before." I laughed with him, and told him that I appreciated his candor.
But, then, I went on to ask if he could at least give me his view on whether they have hit an insurmountable brick wall... or is this something less challenging. He responded by saying "No, not a brick wall... that he felt we will be paid, and that this was just another hiccup that they needed to work through".
He further elaborated and said that, despite the multiple delays, they have been able to deal with everything that has come their way so far, and have been able to find ways to get past each of the issues that were holding things up... and that he fully expected they would continue with this process until there were no more issues to deal with.
Now... here's the part of the conversation that really struck me... Dennis went on to say that this situation is "without precedence"... and that even those folks above Al, who are running the show, don't really have direct experience with how to do something of this magnitude... and that they are all learning as they go.
That last comment makes a lot of sense to me... especially when I consider how often we have been told that this is so much bigger than CMKX… and that this is part of some larger “economic refunding” program.
So, the bottom line is that Dennis is feeling positive that ultimately all these issues will get resolved... and that we will get paid.
Having said that, he agreed we are all living in CMKXland... and anything, he supposed, could happen. But, at this stage, he is feeling as confident as he can be that we are coming to the end of this journey... and a positive ending at that.
I asked Dennis in a PM if I could post this conversation, as I’ve written it above. He wrote me back to say “Sure, go ahead and post it if you want; it's a fair approximation of the truth, at least as I perceive it.”
I don't know how everyone else feels, but I was certainly getting a bit nervous after yet another week without closure. But, I'm definitely feeling better now... and still very grateful that we have Al and Dennis working on our behalf!
