DinarDaddy: I¡¦ve been very busy ¡K lol, that¡¦s a redundant statement¡K. and am feeling really good about what is happening. I¡¦ve got a few announcements, then we¡¦ll dive into Q&A
DinarDaddy: 1) I REALLY enjoyed my conversation with Rudolph Coenen last night! I know many of you did as well, as I received many complimentary emails about it. Thank you for your support. If you haven¡¦t listened to it¡K you need to. If you are worried about your investment in the Iraqi Dinar, you need to. If you¡¦re confused about what is going on, you need to. If you¡¦re a doubter about the grand scheme of this investment, and about what I¡¦ve been trying to bring you to for some time (i.e. Big Picture versus the microscopic view of every day following Iraq, and the crazy rumors that spread throughout the forums, you need to. Bottom line, it¡¦s a GREAT IDEA for you to go over to my youtube channel, my blogtalkradio channel, or on DDT or DDC (audio players located on both sites) to listen to it.
DinarDaddy: it will do you a LOT of good in helping calm your nerves, and gaining a better perspective about your professional investment in this crazy exotic / 3rd world currency
DinarDaddy: 2) For those who didn¡¦t catch it in my earlier posts, Rudolph will be coming back in a follow-up 90 minute broadcast of Dinar Daddy¡¦s Radio Tidbits.
DinarDaddy: The first 30 minutes, I anticipate I will cover more information with him, as I had many follow-up questions to our last program, but I want to give all of you the opportunity to call in and interact with him and ask your questions. So, the last 60 minutes or so will be a Q&A call-in session
DinarDaddy: 3) I¡¦ve made tremendous headway with the Dashboard today¡K I anticipate rolling it out by the middle of next week.
DinarDaddy: I absolutely love it! I think you¡¦ll really dig it too! Just so you know, I will be using that TOOL as part of my efforts post-RV. As such, my engaging in that effort now has NOTHING to do with me thinking it will be a while before it RVs. It has EVERYTHING to do with me thinking it will one day RV, and I¡¦m preparing myself and YOU to be connected with me when that happens. I know you¡¦ll love it¡K at least those who trust and support me and the reasons I do things.
DinarDaddy: My weekly newsletter, just so you all know, has NEVER been sent out, but for only an email or two giving some updates, but my REAL weekly newsletter has NEVER gone out. Eman: DD do you have some special news to share?
DinarDaddy: My timeline remains the same¡K GOI finalized, followed by Parliament vote for a revaluation of their currency, to implementation of the ¡§plan¡¨. That could take a bit with the way Iraq moves. As such, my timeline is by the end of March. With what I just shared however, that may be a bit aggressive of a timeline. With that said, I¡¦m not privy to what has already happened. So, I¡¦m still hoping we¡¦re there, and we¡¦ll see this as early as this weekend, as that¡¦s the beginning of my intel stating a ¡§particular day¡¨.

DinarDaddy: hmmm¡K I¡¦d say true, as they are still a fledgling democracy, BUT, they have the world backing them¡K so they are a newborn with weak legs, but have a ¡§parent¡¨ in the world, that is strong and assisting them all the way to walking, then running.
akdinar: how do you feel about the 3 names being turned in next week do you have a good feeling it will happen
DinarDaddy: I feel the Security Ministries will be complete within the next 2 weeks, if not sooner. That¡¦s just my opinion, not based on intel, but based on typical Iraq timing.

DinarDaddy: I¡¦m not counting on it this weekend, but have been told by one contact that it will, so I hope they are right.
brob: DD-with the Shiite¡¦s pulling out of the protests do you think there is a higher chance of insurgents attacking demonstrations given the fact that Iran has been known to have influence over the shiites
DinarDaddy: Great question¡K itsallgood sent me that thought in an email¡K it does lead you to wonder, and worry a bit. Keep them in your hearts and prayers this evening everyone!

DinarDaddy: Not worth talking about right now¡K they won¡¦t acknowledge it until it¡¦s here, then just watch them flock to you¡K right now, they¡¦re being held back by the higher-ups out of self-preservation. Can you imagine a bank like BofA if the RV happened, and all their employees were invested? They¡¦d be dead in the water! As such, MUCH misinformation is being blatantly thrown down to the branch managers to implement like good little soldiers.

DinarDaddy: only rumors¡K my strongest intel and feeling leads me into the middle or later March, regardless of the demonstrations tomorrow. With that said, I could be misled as ANYTHING right now may be off¡K remember, the closer we get¡K. the more confused we¡¦ll be? Well, then you know we must be RIGHT THERE, because so many don¡¦t know which way is up¡K LOL!

DinarDaddy: You¡¦re welcome. I¡¦m fortunate to be in a position to be nothing more than a conduit of information between all of you and those who are kind enough to impart their experience and knowledge.
B.I.W.: Hows it going ? you are 1 of the only guys who put any merit like me in to the (HCL) if you could tell every body what it is and why it is so important to iraq maybe folks would see why it so big thanks bro go rv
DinarDaddy: The HCL¡K is the Hydro-Carbon Law¡K the law is really divided into TWO PARTS¡K
Firstly, it protects the foreign oil companies, and gives them the RIGHT to even be in Iraq drilling Iraqi Oil on Iraqi land. This gives them the protection they deserve and need when bringing their men into Iraq, and the safety they need for their equipment, so it won¡¦t be lost to destruction and such.
Secondly, it protects the Iraqi people. It provides a way whereby, through LAW, the Iraqi citizens are guaranteed a percentage of oil revenues (similar to the Alaska dividend), that will go to all the various provinces based on their percentage of the total populace, and based on where their homes are. This is the powderkeg within Iraq, as this is the very reason they would go to war with one another, and the very reason they¡¦d be peaceful with one another. Hence, the CENSUS is such a critical piece to the equation. I hope this gives you a simple, yet solid understanding of the importance of the HCL. It, in reality, IS the key to the RV!!!
DinarDaddy: Why? because a currency is only as good as the good faith and credit of the government behind it. If the government represents a peaceful, hard working, and cooperative people, then the currency will naturally be strong, and the means for the distribution of wealth, and the methods (i.e. oil companies, pipelines, workers, executives, etc.) for obtaining that wealth are now there. Without it, they are no better off than they were 10 years ago. Make sense? As such, the HCL is EVERYTHING to the RV

DinarDaddy: 27th is the first date I¡¦ve heard, I¡¦ve been told within 30 days following the formation of the government, I¡¦ve been told it will happen in March¡K Good enough for you?

DinarDaddy: Iraq, the Dinar, and the ¡§plan¡¨ are all still moving along, and it will happen at the appropriate time according to all those I speak with. I have no reason to doubt them. There¡¦s a time and a season for everything. We¡¦ll eventually reach that time

DinarDaddy: It¡¦s one of the ¡§possibilities¡¨ I have in my ¡§All the possible outcomes¡¨ post. With that said, I¡¦ve heard no one who is connected state that, so I¡¦m torn.. I have my opinion on the matter, but I think I¡¦ll just not give it. I think we¡¦re going to make a very healthy return on our investment. I¡¦ll leave it at that.
author: What do you expect from the government tomorrow when the people have their ¡§day of rage¡¨?
DinarDaddy: I expect a few bombings¡K but mostly peace.

DinarDaddy: It¡¦s all speculation for me to say I think so. I don¡¦t have any definitive information that gives me confidence one way or the other.
Eman: DD¡K is it true that the deadline to form the government is Monday? If so, do you think Maliki will be still in power after that date?
DinarDaddy: People that put out deadlines don¡¦t know what they are talking about. The GOI is already formed. They just haven¡¦t completed their government, as there¡¦s still the situation with the Security Ministers to work out.
farrell: Why is the Iraqi budget, (from what I¡¦ve seen) in american dollars?
DinarDaddy: If I were Iraq, and my currency were of no value, and I was leaching off the US and their government¡¦s money for 8 or so years, I¡¦d release it in dollars as well. Besides, if they are planning on a revaluation, then it would be smart to hide the budget that way right? No need to screw with the numbers and exchange rate. Also, I¡¦d imagine they are receiving tremendous help behind the scenes from the US Treasury Dept, IMF, World Bank, World Trade Organization, and the UN¡K and those organizations would be providing their numbers in dollars as well¡K so all the way around, the dollar is a common and safe currency to announce their budget in. Make sense?
jrod007: how do you feel regarding some of the rumors saying that it will not only happen this weekend but also at $3.22 per Dinar.
DinarDaddy: I hope they are right?! I would be absolutely fired up should such a thing happen! I¡¦m optimistic, and feel we could see this at any time at this point. As such, I just don¡¦t know of a time.
aprehensv: dd, I have seen that on March 1st Banks stop selling Dinars. Is this rumor or news?
DinarDaddy: Most banks have already stopped their selling dinars. This isn¡¦t big news to me, but is just a further sign things are tightening up¡K more info to reference.

DinarDaddy: that¡¦s been up before¡K not legitimate. The rest of the site has the correct currency rate.

DinarDaddy: I fully expect there will be many banks willing to work with the dinar AFTER the dinar changes in value, but not a minute before, so please don¡¦t try to contact banks. You are only wasting their time, your own, and causing ridiculous letters that are sent down from corporate claiming a ¡§scam¡¨.. lol! I¡¦ve never seen a more blatant misuse of a word in my life than the way these banks are going out of their way to state it¡¦s a ¡§scam¡¨¡K they need to look up the definition.

I¡¦ve heard it¡¦s still a couple of years off, but who knows if they ¡§bring low¡¨ certain currencies in order to bring others ¡§high¡¨¡K with all the talk of the Dollar devaluing, I¡¦d think that MOST currencies of the world would gain value should that happen, including the Dong.
g: Do you think at this point that LOP is still a possible outcome. And yes, I read your post already but I wonder if you are more on the $0.10 rate with no LOP than the $3 rate with possible LOP.
DinarDaddy: I don¡¦t believe a LOP will happen personally¡K. yes, if I had a choice, the LOP would be the last thing to happen in my opinion¡K but a lower rate that rises over the next 10 years to rates we¡¦ve discussed, giving the CBI time to manage the currency supply and fight inflation over time, then increase their value as their economy grows and as the CBI continues to destroy notes to shrink the massive money supply resulting from a RV¡K personally, to me, that makes a lot of sense¡K it¡¦s manageable.
With that said, desperate times require desperate measures. As such, the world has been depleated, and needs to be replenished. So, as there¡¦s no precedence for something of this magnitude in the world of finance and currencies, I still have a strong belief in a higher revaluation.
I try to stay open to all possibilities, viewing the options and understanding probabilities. I appreciate rumors for their morale-boosting value, but beyond that, they grow empty in my mind and heart. I like legitimacy in all I hear the longer I remain in this investment

jrod007: the fact that the IQD is now in Forex is a huge deal. It even moved (very little) today. It seems everyone is preparaing for the rv. Now no one is sure of when it will come, so even though your intel says one thing and another says something else, you could both be wrong, correct?
DinarDaddy: absolutely! I¡¦ve said time and again¡K don¡¦t believe anyone, including ME! Keep an open mind about anything. You can trust me, without believing the information I pass through you. Make sense? I do my best to always share with disclaimers. I want you to have healthy doubt about ¡§intel¡¨ or ¡§rumors¡¨ or ¡§info¡¨. Some is obviously true, some ridiculously false, but the grey area is where I struggle¡K that¡¦s where I keep an open mind, and make sure I pay attention, as it just may be true, or help me draw closer to the truth.

Where Are We At?
1. Not a big news day today, and the news is pretty fragmented. In government formation news, it appears that Allawi was set to resign from the Presidency of the National Council, but then another article came out saying that outside pressure forced him to cancel his announcement speech. In related news, the List said that they are still waiting for a response from Maliki over the issue of security ministers. A member of the list said there is no justification for the delays given that Maliki has all the nominees. He also reiterated that per the Erbil agreements, the List is supposed to get the Defense Ministry. A member of the National Alliance said that we should see the 3 security ministries resolved and voted on next week
2. Regarding the demonstrations tomorrow, Iraq reported they expect a wave of demonstrations to take place throughout Iraq tomorrow. Iraq officials warned that insurgents may exploit the occasion and attack the rallies of demonstrators. During Maliki¡¦s speech, he warned of the same and told people to stay away from the demonstrations because they are being organized by supporters of the Hessein and al-Qaida groups. In another article, it was reported that there are over 40 documents describing planned terrorist acts that are supposed to occur during the demonstrations tomorrow. In related news, Maliki was said to be upset over the officials who have fled Iraq instead of staying to listen to the demands of the demonstrators. It was reported that those fleeing trie dto take 1,000,200 thousand dollars out of Iraq
3. The good news for today is that it was reported that China will continue to give strong support for the completion of the requirements to lift Chapter 7 sanctions
4. On the rumor front, Frank reported that Maliki gave some of his powers to Allawi in order to share the blame that is coming from the demonstrators. He also said Allawi is in London and that Allawi said there will be a succession. Frank and team will be trying to find out what ¡§succession¡¨ means. Frank reported that CNN said the IQD is about to RV. Someone else listening to the radio heard them say that the dinar is about to RV soon at a rate of $3.22. Also, someone who seems to be very well connected reported that the government was fully formed at 12:30 on Feb 2, including all the ministers. His/her sources know the exact date for when this will happen, but he/she does not know, but will be given a heads up. Peepaw was told by a former defense department that the government is fully formed too. He was told that the 3 security ministries are not needed before the RV and that since the budget is done, they will need to begin removing the 3 zeros as the CBI noted they would

What¡¦s It All Mean?
1. In terms of government formation, we absolutely have not made any ground. The 3 security minister positions seem to get moved out further and further. The same can be said of the issues over Allawi¡¦s National Council position and group.
2. Regarding the demonstrations, it would have been nice to hear Maliki announce in his speech today the RV, but we didn¡¦t see that. Not even a hint. It appears to me they will take their chances and let tomorrow fly by. I guess we¡¦ll see what tomorrow¡¦s news brings us
3. It was intersting seeing China pop up suddenly, but it¡¦s good because whenever we see China and this investment, the news isn¡¦t normally as positive. But today¡¦s news was good. We want to see China giving full support to Iraq getting out of the sanctions, and that is exactly what they gave us today
4. In regards to rumors, I thought it was interesting that Frank mentioned CNN reported the dinar would RV, and the rumor of the person hearing the same on the radio. Is this just buzz getting around? Or, do they know something more than we do about the timing of the RV?

Astro Guy: the remaining ministries are not going to stop IQD restructuring in my opinion. It is the implementation of their fiscal policies that just got passed (¡§b¡¨) and then the creation of bourgeois through free market enterprise and participation of MNCs (Multi National Corporations). Only then the need for a tradable currency is somewhat seen very required and urgent. Fiscal policy will control the monetary policy as per S. So will be the sequence.

I¡¦m re-posting this post of mine that I put up here on the site a few months back to help quel the tide if questions, concerns, and emails. I hope this helps. All,
From the moment I¡¦ve been in this investment even until now, the debate of LOP versus RV has been raging. That very argument is what drove me and thousands of others AWAY from Investors Iraq (IIF), as it appeared it was absolutely overrun by those who felt it was their mission to squash the hopes and dreams of other investors. I am sharing this with the permission of those who have helped bring me this concept to light, from several legitimate economists and very sharp minds, their perspective to help each of you understand this dilemma.
I don¡¦t know about you, but I¡¦ve been told time and again by those who are absolutely in a position to know that this will NOT be a LOP, but will be a straight-up RV, yet I found myself not being able to refute the arguments of those who brought only ¡§part of the truth¡¨ forward, using the ¡§numbers¡¨ to their advantage through logical focus on that which was clearly understood. This post of mine is dedicated to explaining how an RV will happen.
CONCEPT EXPLAINED:
First off, I¡¦ll use the exchange of a 10,000 IQD note as my example. To help explain the economics of this cash-in example, I will use a 1:1 cash-in ratio between the USD and IQD, that is given a two-tier payout, and a 2% bank spread.
What You Will Receive:
If you were to cash in your 10,000 IQD note with a bank that charges you a 2% spread, you would personally receive a net take-home of $9,800 credited to your bank account.
What Your Bank Will Receive:
Your Bank will receive a $10,000 credit to its Federal Reserve Account. They will also be able to add the $200 profit to their ¡§capital account¡¨.
If you don¡¦t understand the ¡§Fractional Banking¡§ concept that runs our country, you may want to, as that is what this is based on, and is what is behind this entire concept and plan. To learn more about this concept, I suggest you click HERE, and go to a video post I brought to the forum previously, and posted in my ¡§Tidbits¡§ section.
Ultimately, the bank wins because they are able to gain $2,000 in lending power under the 10% ¡§Fractional Banking¡§ model.
What the US Treasury Will Receive:
First off, the US Treasury will receive $3,500 in estimated taxes in the quarter after the exchange, because you are now in the ¡§rich¡¨ category and get to enjoy the 35% tax bracket. This lowers the ¡§net cost¡¨ of the IQD exchange to the US financial system to $6,500 USD (i.e. $10,000 out ¡V $3,500 in). Furthermore, the US Treasury¡¦s rate is higher than the banking rate (we will use in this example 1.25), thereby further reducing their ¡§net cost¡¨ from $6,500 to $4,000.
Oil Now Enters the Picture:
At some point, a Fed-appointed agent orders $12,500 worth of oil from Iraq. Payment will consist of a $12,500 transfer from the Fed¡¦s foreign currency reserve IQD account to the IRAQ Oil payment account at the CBI in a form otherwise known as PetroDollars/PetroDinar. Even though the world spot price of oil is defined in terms of USD, the actual transaction may take place in any internationally recognized currency agreed to by the parties. For example, Iran only accepts Yen from Japan for their oil orders, because they don¡¦t want USD in their foreign currency reserves.
How the CBI ¡§RECAPTURES¡¨ the Money:
The $12,500 order is filled with 250 barrels of oil based on the spot price on the date of the sale (for this example we used a $50 USD spot price). What does it cost Iraq to produce the oil to fill this order? Well they have negotiated productions agreements for approximately $1.50 USD/barrel. From that price $.50 USD goes to the national Iraqi oil company who is the partner in the field the oil came from. Out of the remaining $1.00 the other oil field partners have to pay the Iraq government a profit tax of $.35 USD (35%). The net cost to Iraq to produce a barrel of oil used in this scenario is $.65 USD. (i.e. $1.50 ¡V .50 ¡V .35)
What does all that mean? It cost Iraq $162.50 to bring back a 10,000 IQD note! Can they afford that? I think so! So, instead of paying out $12,500 for a 10,000 IQD note, they only pay $162.50! That doesn¡¦t add to the money supply much at all does it! They receive their IQD back and place it in the CBI, or destroy it.
The transaction is completed with the Federal Reserve exchanging foreign reserve credits which are equal to $12,500 USD (which had a net acquisition cost of $4,000 USD for the US) for 250 barrels of oil (which has a TOTAL COST to produce of $162.50 USD for Iraq.
More completely explained, and simply put, it cost Iraq $162.50 USD from their foreign currency reserve accounts to redeem the value of 10,000 IQD, which goes into their operating accounts. At the same time the US got $12,500 worth of oil for a net cost of $4,000. That¡¦s how it was originally planned for Iraq to RV at 1 IQD = 1 USD, with the variable being the political element (i.e. UN Sanctions, GOI actions, IMF actions, World Bank actions etc.)
Other Factors that Strengthen Iraq¡¦s Position and Ability to RV:
¡½DFI Funds Returned & Other Assets: $280+ Billion USD, plus other frozen assets (estimated at $100 billion) will be returned back to Iraq and added to their foreign currency reserve, bringing it up to $430+ billion USD.
¡½CBI IQD Reserve Requirement Adjustment: The CBI will change the current fractional IQD reserve requirements from 100% to 15% at the appropriate time. As a result, the the total potential money supply will be raised in value to $2.8 Trillion (430 billion/15), while at the same time, the total physical IQD in circulation will be reduced by removing the large bills with the 3 zeros over a period of 2 years, as they have indicated.
¡½Oil Production Increased: Iraq will also execute the plan they announced to increase oil production from 2+ million barrels/day to 10 million barrels/day with the resulting revenues flowing directly to the Iraq treasury.
¡½Oil Futures & Forex Contracts Added: To further stir the pot, the CBI will continue to use it¡¦s sales window to market oil futures and forex contracts. They have shown they can generate significant cash flow in the private market. Think of their impact in public markets.
There, my friends, is how this plan will be enacted and made possible. Taking NOTHING, and turning it into SOMETHING, then bringing it back to a ¡§manageable and reasonable something¡¨ that is accepted and supported by seeming endless supplies of oil. This is how the world¡¦s ENTIRE NEW MONETARY SYSTEM will be regenerated and supported and backed, given, in essence, a re-birth and renewed for most governments and economic regions¡K even by ¡§Black Gold¡¨.
So, here¡¦s the summary for all the ¡§players¡¨ involved, giving ballpark numbers, and not taking into account superfluous costs, fees, and other small details that don¡¦t really affect the larger picture:
¡½Investor¡¦s Net Gain: $10,000 ¡V $200 = $9,800 x .65 = 6,370 for an investment that cost $10
¡½Bank¡¦s Net Gain: $200 added to ¡§capital account¡¨, plus $2,000 they can use to loan out.
¡½US Treasury Net Gain: $2,500 from the .25 spread on top + $3,500 in quarterly taxes = $6,000
¡½CBI/GOI/Iraqi People Net Gain: $12,500 ¡V $162.50 = $12,337.50 + Profits from ¡§Other Factors¡¨
¡½Overall Net Gain for All Involved: $6,370+$200+$6,000+12,337.20 = $24,907.20
This is the wealth that was generated from a single 10,000 IQD note that was given an original value of approximately $10! Is that amazing or what?! You tell me¡K can Iraq afford NOT to RV?!!! Will the IMF allow them to NOT RV their currency, but simply replace their large denoms for smaller ones?!!! LOL!!!
In this scenario, EVERYONE WINS¡K and the IQD is slowly (over 2 years) taken back in to the CBI¡K eventually destroyed, leaving a manageable M2 behind, having created HUGE WEALTH throughout the world to re-supply what was allowed to be destroyed in the ¡§great bleed¡¨ over a period of just a few weeks a couple of years ago, even the greatest redistribution of wealth the world has ever seen. Believe it or not, it has happened for this very purpose, and it IS coming!
